Visitor Tips for Festwiese Colditz
- Families with children will find Saturday afternoon especially appealing, with bull riding, bagpipe music and the autumn market.
- Arrive early for the fire show and the evening dance party on Saturday, since the area around the festival tent tends to get busy.
- Sunday's quieter Frühschoppen is a good choice for a relaxed end to the weekend.
- As this is the first edition of the festival, it is worth checking the City of Colditz's announcements for any short notice programme changes.
- Pack weather appropriate clothing, since the festival takes place outdoors on the Festwiese and October evenings in Saxony can already be cool.
