Welcome to Deichbrand Festival 2027
From 15 to 18 July 2027, the Deichbrand Festival returns right on the North Sea coast, at the Cuxhaven/Nordholz airfield. Since its first edition in 2005 at the former naval fort Fort Kugelbake, the festival has grown into one of the largest music festivals in northern Germany, recently drawing around 60,000 visitors from across the country. Several stages, including the Fire Stage and the Water Stage, bring together rock, indie, hip hop, pop and electro, paired with a unique camping experience right by the dike.

Program
The full 2027 lineup will be announced gradually via the organizer's website and newsletter; no acts have been confirmed yet. In previous years, Deichbrand hosted names such as Rise Against, Electric Callboy, Scooter, Marteria, Sido, Dropkick Murphys and Beatsteaks. The festival runs across four days on multiple stages, with Fire Stage and Water Stage alternating, leaving fans plenty of time between camping, the beach area and food stands.
Tickets
Ticket sales for 2027 have already started; the cheapest All Days tickets were available from 159 euros in the first sales phase, with regular prices reaching above 175 euros depending on category and sales stage. Festival access and camping are booked separately: anyone wanting to stay overnight needs a camping ticket in addition to the festival ticket, and car parking requires a separate parking ticket. Visitor Tips
- Travel via the A27 (Neuenwalde exit) or by train to Cuxhaven or Nordholz with a shuttle bus to the grounds.
- Campers should consider the early arrival ticket, which opens the camping area already on Wednesday afternoon.
- The festival is fully cashless; payments run through the festival wristband.
- Pack weatherproof clothing and rain protection, as wind and showers are common on the North Sea coast.
- Book early, since popular ticket categories tend to sell out quickly.
