Delta Festival is Marseille’s big summer beach festival: electronic music, rap, pop and club culture on the Plages du Prado, facing the Mediterranean. The last confirmed edition – the 12th – ran 23–26 July 2026 across about eight hectares of Parc Balneaire du Prado (Avenue du Prado, 13008 Marseille), with up to six stages, themed villages, pool parties and around 150,000 visits over the run. Dates for 2027 had not been published as of September 2026. Organiser SAS Delta Agency entered judicial liquidation in early August 2026; a takeover remains theoretically possible but is not confirmed. Delta’s usual mix is a Live Stage (pop, electro, urban), Scène Eden (techno, melodic, underground), Hard Stage (hard techno, frenchcore) plus beach and sports zones. Entry is paid. Minimum age is 16 (16–17 only with an adult). In 2026, passes ranged roughly from 48 EUR (1-day super-early) to 215 EUR (4-day). There is no 2027 price list or lineup yet.

Program & Schedule: What to Expect in 2027

There is no official 2027 date, lineup or confirmed revival. Historically Delta sat in late August (2025: 27–31 August) and moved to midsummer in 2026 (Thursday 23 to Sunday 26 July). Gates typically opened around noon (often 12:00), pool parties from about 14:00, first concerts in the afternoon, finish near 03:00. Saturday 25 July 2026 – usually the busiest day – was cancelled outright because of severe hail; refunds then went through the insolvency administrator. That is the weather risk of a beach festival in Marseille: mistral, storms and heat.

Musically Delta is a Mediterranean party, not a techno-only weekender: Live Stage headliners, club DJs in Eden, the hard community on Hard Stage, and in 2026 a Brazilian-leaning Colisée under the theme “Do Brasil – Welcome to Delta Cabana”. Costume parades, glitter stalls and daily best-costume votes were part of that edition; a 2027 theme is unknown. Under-16s are not admitted. Pack sun protection (liquids often capped at 30 cl), earplugs, shoes that work on sand, and a power bank. Cans, glass, outside alcohol and large sunscreen bottles were banned in 2026.

Live Stage on Prado Beach in Marseille

The Live Stage is the main room for pop, electro live acts and urban music. The 2026 bill listed Benny Benassi, Cascada, Cerrone, Kungs, Franglish, Guy2Bezbar and MC Menor JP; Adèle Castillon, Mosimann, Kungs, L2B and others pulled out after reporting on a co-founder. This is the postcard stage: LED walls, pyrotechnics in earlier years, sea backdrop. One-day visitors usually anchor the evening here and hop to Eden or Hard Stage on the same sand.

Scène Eden: techno and melodic in Marseille

Scène Eden is Delta’s club stage: techno, melodic, underground. 2026 draws included Adam Beyer, Lilly Palmer, Kevin de Vries, Miss Monique, Thylacine and Sama' Abdulhadi. Crowds stay for long sets while the Live Stage rotates. Shade and water matter on Prado; Eden typically owns late afternoon and night. No 2027 bookings are public.

Hard Stage on the Prado beaches

Hard Stage is hard techno, frenchcore and hardcore – a loyal southern-France crowd. 2026 included Maissouille, Rebelion, STV and regional crews. It is louder and less photogenic than the sea-facing Live Stage, and the reason many people buy multi-day passes. Ear protection is mandatory. After-parties can run later here than the main grid.

Colisée, pool party and Delta Cabana

In 2026 the Colisée hosted baile funk, Latin and Brazilian party music for the Rio-carnival theme, with pool parties from 14:00 and costume parades. That is the “youth village” side of Delta: swimming, volleyball, make-up, photo spots. Whether the pool and Colisée return in 2027 depends on a possible new organiser. The Prado itself remains the draw: a public beach park, the promenade, and Parc Borely’s lawns next door.

Themed villages, sport and Monde des Possibles

From the early editions (first festival 2015, Delta Agency) sports tournaments, a youth and civic village and “Monde des Possibles” were core: NGOs, start-ups, environment, mental health, inclusive water sports (tiralo, hippocampe, Village de la Mer). In 2026 several partner collectives and Clean My Calanques withdrew before opening. Do not assume the same clubs and sports will automatically return in 2027. Wait for an official site map if a new edition is announced.

Marsatac at Parc Borely – Marseille’s confirmed 2027 festival

If you need a locked-in Marseille 2027 date, Marsatac has announced its 29th edition for 10–13 June 2027 at Parc Borely, a walk from the same Prado beaches. Marsatac 2026 (12–14 June) mixed rap, club cultures and a solidarity Sunday; stages were Le Château, Le Virage and Le Calage. Tickets and info: marsatac.com. For electro and rap travellers, the Borely/Prado strip stays the city’s summer hub even if Delta 2027 stays unresolved.

Also on the map: Festival de Marseille (contemporary arts, multiple venues), Marseille Jazz des Cinq Continents, and club programmes at Friche la Belle de Mai or Cabaret Aleatoire. Delta Agency previously pointed to offshoots such as Praloup Festival and Cassis en scène; their 2027 status is unclear after the liquidation. No 2027 tickets are on sale, because neither dates nor a confirmed organiser exist. The last published range (2026, onsale from 12 February 2026 via delta-festival.com, See Tickets, Fnac Spectacles, Ticketmaster, Shotgun) was: 1-day from 48 EUR (super-early / early access before 16:30) through 56 EUR super-reduced and about 62 EUR early, up to 125 EUR VIP; 2-day from 100 EUR; 3-day about 140–175 EUR; 4-day about 130–215 EUR. Discounts included PSH (companion free), Pass Culture, jobseekers and Carte Jeune. On site: cashless. No entry under 16. Official 2026 resale was TicketSwap and Reelax Ticket only. Holders of Saturday 25 July 2026 passes had to file claims with the insolvency administrator, not the old webshop. If 2027 happens, buy only from a newly confirmed official site with a legal imprint; delta-festival.com may change or go offline.

Visitor Tips: Travel & Accommodation in Marseille

• Getting there: TGV to Marseille-Saint-Charles, metro M2 to Rond-Point du Prado, bus 19 to Plages du Prado. Cars: Prado is often restricted on festival days and parking was pre-booked only; within about 2 km, do not count on a space. 2026 guidance pushed public transport; alcohol checks on Avenue du Prado and the A50 are common. Marseille-Provence airport plus shuttle or TER.
• Weather and kit: July/August can exceed 30 °C with harsh UV; evenings bring sea wind. Light clothes, closed shoes for sand and cable tracks, a rain poncho (25 July 2026 shows hail can wipe a whole day), earplugs, SPF 50 in the allowed bottle size, a refillable bottle if taps are provided.
• Where to stay: The 8th arrondissement (Prado, Borely, Vieille-Chapelle) and the 6th (Rond-Point, Palais des Sports) cut taxi fares. Hotels sell out citywide in festival weeks. Back-ups: Corniche rentals, campsites in Bouches-du-Rhône, or Aix-en-Provence with a late return (M2 is not a night metro).
