Welcome to the Détonation Festival 2027 in Besançon
Détonation Festival is the annual contemporary music event of La Rodia in Besançon. The 2026 edition took place on 25 and 26 September and sold out. Exact 2027 dates have not been published yet; the festival traditionally returns in late September. The venue remains La Rodia, 4 avenue de Chardonnet, facing the Citadel.

Program & Schedule: What to Expect in 2027
The full 2027 line-up is not yet announced. In 2026 the bill included Bab L’Bluz, Les Vulves Assassines, Guedra Guedra, Puts Marie x Grand Géant, THK x Brass Orchestra and many more across four stages. Doors typically opened around 19:00. The festival deliberately prioritises discovery over big headliners.

Tickets & Admission for Détonation Festival Besançon
In 2026 a single-day ticket cost 28 euros (25 euros with Carte Rodia) and the two-day pass 50 euros (45 euros with Carte Rodia). Youth Card holders paid 20 euros at the box office in limited numbers. Pass Culture was available. 2027 prices are not yet confirmed; the figures above are the last known reference. Tickets are expected via detonation-festival.com.
Visitor Tips: Travel & Accommodation in Besançon
- Train to Besançon-Viotte, then Ginko bus or about 20 minutes on foot to La Rodia
- Late-September evenings in eastern France: bring a warm layer and solid shoes
