Welcome to the Donaueschinger Musiktage 2026 in Donaueschingen
The Donaueschinger Musiktage 2026 take place from 15 to 18 October in Donaueschingen. As the world’s oldest festival for contemporary music since 1921, it presents under the motto “polyphonies” around 20 world and first performances, sound installations and an extensive supporting programme. Internationally renowned ensembles and the SWR Symphony Orchestra perform at the Donauhallen and other venues across the city.

Program & Schedule: What to Expect in 2026
The 2026 edition focuses on polyphony – the combination of different voices, lines and materials. From 15 to 18 October concerts take place at the Donauhallen (Strawinsky Hall, Mozart Hall, Bartók Hall), the Baarsporthalle, the secondary school and other locations. Tickets for the concerts are available via littleticket.shop and the ticket hotline. Residents of the Schwarzwald-Baar district receive reduced tickets at 12 euros upon presentation of proof at the Tourist Information Donaueschingen and at the box office.
