When and Where Is Down The Rabbit Hole 2026?
Down The Rabbit Hole takes place from 3 to 5 July 2026 at the Groene Heuvels recreation area near Ewijk (municipality of Beuningen), close to Nijmegen in the Netherlands. First held in 2014, the three day festival has become one of the most popular indie and alternative festivals in the Netherlands, drawing around 47,000 visitors in 2024.
What Makes the Wonderland Concept of Down The Rabbit Hole Special?
The name says it all: for one long weekend, the forest and hills around a lake turn into a genuine "Wonderland". Between the main stages, set under huge circus tents, visitors can join creative workshops, stumble upon hidden surprise stages tucked away in the woods, and cool off in the festival's own swimming lake during hot July days. Art installations and unexpected corners invite guests to explore the grounds at their own pace.

What Can Visitors Expect from the 2026 Program?
The 2026 lineup includes Florence + The Machine, Little Simz, The xx, David Byrne, Johnny Marr, The Last Dinner Party and Peaches, alongside a broad mix of indie, alternative, electronic and hip hop acts. Alongside the big headliners, the festival deliberately makes room for newcomers and hidden gems on its smaller stages.
How Much Do Down The Rabbit Hole Tickets Cost?
Only weekend tickets are sold; there are no single day tickets. A regular weekend ticket, including four nights on the tent campsite, costs 329 euros. Groups of ten people pay 309 euros per ticket. Extra options such as motorhome pitches or comfortable stays in the Rabbit Resort can be booked for an additional fee. Tickets are sold exclusively as mobile tickets through Ticketmaster.
How to Get to Ewijk and Visitor Tips
- Traveling by train to Nijmegen and using the free shuttle bus to the festival site is recommended.
- Access to the tent campsite is already included in the ticket price; no separate booking is required.
- Motorhome pitches require a separate ticket in addition to the regular festival ticket.
- Pack swimwear, since swimming in the lake is part of the festival experience.
- Book early, as the festival has sold out on release day in some previous years.
