Welcome to the New Year's Festival Dublin 2026/2027
Over the turn of the year, Dublin's city centre around Dublin Castle and Custom House Quay transforms into a three-day New Year's festival. From December 30, 2026 through January 1, 2027, visitors can look forward to live music, a festive street procession and a spectacular fireworks display over the River Liffey as the city welcomes 2027.

Program & Schedule: What to Expect on New Year's Eve in Dublin
The three day festival opens on December 30 with the "Echoes of Ireland" concerts and an evening music trail through city centre pubs. On December 31, the area around Dublin Castle opens for the Countdown Concert at around 8:00 pm; this event is strictly for those aged 18 and over, while an earlier family friendly matinee concert runs in the afternoon. At midnight, the light and fireworks display lights up the Liffey.
