Welcome to the Dutchweek 2027 in Zell am See

Dutchweek returns to Zell am See-Kaprun, Austria, twice in 2027: the kick-off from 13 to 17 January 2027 and a second edition from 3 to 7 March 2027. Days are built around skiing and snowboarding on the Schmittenhoehe and the Kitzsteinhorn glacier; afternoons and nights shift to après-ski, live acts and club sets across both villages. Dates are published by dutchweek.nl and Zell am See-Kaprun Tourism; some listings close the kick-off on 16 January and the March edition on 6 March instead of 17 January and 7 March.

Program & Schedule: What to Expect in 2027

The daily rhythm is ski first, then a fixed party grid. In Zell am See, Berghotel Schmitten hosts party and live music from 12:00 to 16:00 and Mittelstation by Rudi Eder plays international party hits from 12:00 to 16:30; both are free without a wristband. Cabrio Bar runs après-ski from 15:00 to 20:00 and requires the Dutchweek bracelet. In Kaprun, Parasol Schirmbar on the glacier is free from 12:00 to 16:00. Baumbar Arena continues from 16:00 to 02:00 (Saturday to 04:00) with house and party hits. Saturday night closes at Baumbar Club from 22:00 to 05:00. The 2027 artist line-up is still being updated; previous editions mixed international DJs, live performers, stage hosts, house and après-ski hits.

Early Bird Skiing on 5 March 2027 meets at 07:15 at the Schmittenhoehe cable car according to the destination. Bring a valid ski pass and your own equipment. Capacity is capped at 27 guests, so the add-on ticket should be bought in the March shop if it remains available. Ski passes are sold separately from festival wristbands.

Tickets & Admission for Dutchweek Zell am See

A Dutchweek festival wristband is required for Cabrio Bar, Baumbar Arena and the closing club night. Several on-mountain sessions stay free. Official options include 1-, 3- and 4-day tickets plus a group deal described as pay for five and receive six. Final January prices apply from 1 December 2026; final March prices from 1 February 2027. As a guide from the previous season and travel partners: day tickets were around 23 EUR and 4-day wristbands around 63 to 73 EUR. Summit Travel lists a 63 EUR admission wristband for the March 2027 edition, valid for all official parties on all days in both villages. Ski passes start at roughly 71 to 75 EUR per day depending on the product. Always check live phase pricing in the official ticket shops, because tiers sell out.

Visitor Tips: Travel & Accommodation in Zell am See

• Travel: Salzburg Airport (SZG) is about 80 km away. Continue by rental car, transfer or train to Zell am See. Ski buses link Zell am See and Kaprun and are typically included with a valid ski pass.
• Weather and kit: January is colder and more snow-sure; March often brings terrace sun. Pack layers, gloves, sunglasses and sturdy shoes for wet après-ski floors.
• Book beds early: group chalets and apartments sell out. Official booking routes include Summit Travel and the Zell am See-Kaprun destination booking portal.
• Split the two villages: Zell am See suits lake views and après-ski until 20:00; Kaprun suits glacier skiing and late nights. Staying near Areitbahn/Cabrio or Baumbar cuts transfer time.
• Wristband rules: the bracelet is edition-specific and subject to venue capacity. Free mountain parties are the backup if evening rooms hit their limit.
