Welcome to the Eckernförde Christmas Market 2026 in Eckernförde
From November 23 to December 30, 2026, the town center of Eckernförde turns once again into one of the most charming Christmas markets on the Baltic coast, gathered around the historic St. Nicolai Church. Between half timbered houses and the old church square, visitors can look forward to festively decorated stalls, warming mulled wine and a program for the whole family.

Program and Schedule: What to Expect in Eckernförde
The market is open daily from 12:00 to 21:00, and it stays closed on Christmas Eve as well as the first and second days of Christmas. Alongside the market itself, St. Nicolai Church runs its own seasonal program, while on the three Advent Saturdays from 15:00 to 18:00, Santa Claus makes a personal appearance and hands out small gifts to children.
