What Is EJEKT Festival?
The EJEKT Festival is one of Greece's biggest open air music festivals, held annually in Athens since 2005. It focuses on alternative, indie, rock and electronic music, with past headliners including Florence and the Machine, The Cure, Muse, Arctic Monkeys and The Killers.
When Is EJEKT Festival 2027?
An official date for 2027 has not been confirmed yet (as of August 2026). In recent years the festival has typically taken place between late June and mid July; the 2026 edition ran on 14 and 15 July. This page will be updated as soon as the organizers announce the 2027 dates.
Where Does EJEKT Festival Take Place in Athens?
A note on location: until 2022, the festival was held right on the coast at Plateia Nerou (Water Square) in Faliro, which is why it is often associated with the Athens Riviera. In more recent editions, including 2026, the festival has been held in the P5 open air area of Telekom Center Athens (the former OAKA arena) in Marousi, an inland location rather than a seaside one. If the organizers return to a coastal venue for 2027, this page will be updated accordingly.
Tickets and Prices for EJEKT Festival 2027
Ticket prices for 2027 are not yet available. As a reference, 2026 prices started at around 80 euros per day (early bird), with VIP tickets reaching up to 160 euros. Presales typically open several months before the event through the official site ejekt.gr and through more.com.
How to Get to Telekom Center Athens
- Metro Line 1 (Piraeus, Kifisia): Irini station, about a 10 minute walk from there.
- From central Athens, follow Kifisias Avenue, signposted "OAKA".
- From Attiki Odos motorway, take Exit 11 ("Kifisias, Olympic Stadium").
- Bus lines 550, 602, A7, E14 and X14 go directly to the venue.
Practical Tips
- Athens is very hot in midsummer; pack light clothing, sun protection and a water bottle.
- For a festival this size, public transport is usually the least stressful way to arrive.
- EJEKT Festival does not offer camping; book accommodation separately in central Athens or Marousi.
