Welcome to the Elbjazz Festival 2027
On 9 and 10 July 2027, the port of Hamburg once again turns into one of Europe's most striking festival settings. Surrounded by water, shipping containers and towering cranes, the Elbjazz Festival brings jazz in all its forms to several stages on the historic grounds of the Blohm+Voss shipyard. Founded in 2010, the festival is now one of the largest and most popular jazz events in Europe.
Highlights
- A unique festival setting right inside Hamburg's working harbor
- Several stages at the Blohm+Voss shipyard, including the Main Stage, Helgen Stage and Schiffbauhalle
- Around 30 international acts from jazz and related genres
- A transparent Main Stage with views of the Hamburg skyline
- Partly covered grandstand seating with a great view of the stage
- Additional satellite concerts at the Elbphilharmonie throughout the year
Program
Elbjazz takes place on Friday and Saturday, 9 and 10 July 2027. Over two summer days, numerous international and German artists from jazz, soul, funk and related styles perform on the Blohm+Voss shipyard grounds. The full 2027 lineup will be announced in the coming months; the 2026 edition featured artists including Tom Jones, Jamie Cullum and Joss Stone. For 2027, the concerts usually held at the Elbphilharmonie will not run alongside the festival weekend but instead take place as standalone satellite events throughout the year, since the festival dates fall during the Elbphilharmonie's break.
