Welcome to the Electric Mountain Festival 2027 in Sölden
Electric Mountain Festival 2027 turns Sölden in Austria’s Ötztal Valley into the Alps’ dance floor from 12 to 17 April. For six days, international electronic acts meet late-season skiing above 2,000 metres. Main Days are scheduled for 15 and 16 April 2027 at the Giggijoch Festival Area; Festival Specials run across the wider ski resort.

Program & Schedule: What to Expect in 2027
The week follows a clear structure. Monday to Wednesday and Saturday host Festival Specials and Premium parties at mountain restaurants and scenic spots. Thursday and Friday are the Main Days at the Giggijoch Festival Stage, typically from about 13:00 to 19:00. Aftershows continue in village clubs and hotels. Some mountain venues can be reached only on skis or a snowboard.
The soundtrack is electronic dance music: house, techno, big-room and related styles. Recent headliners have included Martin Garrix, Steve Aoki, Dimitri Vegas, Timmy Trumpet, Lost Frequencies, James Hype, R3hab and Lilly Palmer. Tickets & Admission for Electric Mountain Festival Sölden
Standalone Main Day tickets for 2027 were still listed as “coming soon” in September 2026. Use 2026 as a price guide only: Festival Ticket (entry only, no ski pass) EUR 60 per day, Combo Ticket with Giggijoch gondola rides plus entry EUR 111.50, Premium/VIP formats about EUR 120–295. Official festival packages with lodging, ski pass and Main Day tickets were already on sale: 4 nights from EUR 629 and 7 nights from EUR 1,029 per person (local tax and meals often extra). Festival Specials were free to enter last year; VIP zones and Premium parties were not. Capacity is limited. Confirm live prices on the official ticket pages.
Visitor Tips: Travel & Accommodation in Sölden
- Travel: Innsbruck Airport is about 80–90 km away; continue by rental car, transfer, or train to Ötztal Bahnhof plus bus to Sölden. By car use the A12 and B186 through the Ötztal. Giggijochbahn valley station: Giggijochstraße 18, with parking and a garage.
- April at altitude: cold mornings, often sunny and mild on the slopes. Pack ski or snowboard kit, layered clothing, sun and wind protection, gloves, and comfortable shoes for aftershows.
- Hotels and apartments in Sölden sell out in festival week. Book early, ideally a package that already includes a ski pass and Main Day tickets.
- Check last gondola rides. Without a valid ski pass or Combo Ticket you will not reach the Main Day stage.
- Respect altitude, alcohol and the slopes: ski first, party second. Bring payment for mountain huts; merchandise was sold on site on Main Days only in the last edition.
