Welcome to the Engerlmarkt Thierhaupten 2026 in Thierhaupten
The 20th Engerlmarkt at the historic Kloster Thierhaupten takes place on the first two Advent weekends on 28 November, 29 November and 6 December 2026. Since 2005 it has transformed the monastery courtyard and historic buildings into a magical Christmas world. With handmade products, regional specialties and the famous Engerlgruaß, the market offers an authentic Bavarian Advent atmosphere.

Program & Schedule: What to Expect in 2026
The Engerlmarkt opens on 28 and 29 November as well as 6 December 2026. Saturdays from 3 p.m. to 9 p.m. and Sundays from 12 p.m. to 8 p.m. The daily highlight is the Engerlgruaß at 6 p.m., when angels greet visitors from the monastery windows. The program is complemented by live music from local choirs and clubs, historical Landsknechte performances and a varied children’s offering. Fire shows and ice art provide additional attractions on selected days.
