Eurosonic Noorderslag 2027: The Music Hub in Groningen
From January 13 to 16, 2027, the Dutch university city of Groningen will once again become the epicenter of the European music industry. Eurosonic Noorderslag (ESNS) is more than just a festival; it is the most important platform for emerging European musical talent. Over 300 artists from across Europe perform in dozens of clubs, bars, and theaters throughout the city center.

The festival program is divided into daytime conference sessions and nighttime live showcases. The musical spectrum ranges from pop, indie, and rock to electronic and hip-hop. Many of today's global stars had their international breakthrough on an ESNS stage in Groningen. The full line-up is gradually announced during the autumn leading up to the event.
How to Buy ESNS 2027 Tickets
There are different ticket tiers: Festival tickets (available separately for Eurosonic and Noorderslag, or as a combi-ticket) are aimed at music fans, while Registrations (Pro Passes) grant access to the daytime conference, panels, and all festival gigs. - Book Accommodation Early: Groningen is completely booked out during ESNS. Secure your hotel, hostel, or Airbnb at least six months in advance.
- Getting There: Arriving by train at Groningen Central Station is highly recommended, as almost all festival venues in the city center are within walking distance.
- Dress for Winter: January in the Netherlands can be cold and rainy. Since you will be walking between venues across the city, warm clothing and comfortable, waterproof shoes are a must.
