EXIT Festival 2026: The Award-Winning Festival at Petrovaradin Fortress

In mid-July 2026 (expected July 9 to 12), the historic 17th-century Petrovaradin Fortress in Novi Sad, Serbia, will once again transform into a global hub for electronic music, rock, punk, and hip-hop. Originally founded in 2000 as a student movement fighting for freedom and democracy, EXIT Festival now hosts over 1,000 artists across more than 40 stages and zones. The crown jewels of the festival are the colossal mts Dance Arena for electronic music and the massive Main Stage for rock, pop, and hip-hop superstars.

Highlights

  • Unique location: The stunning Petrovaradin Fortress situated on the Danube River
  • Over 40 stages and zones, including the world-famous mts Dance Arena and the Explosive Stage for metal/punk fans
  • Incredible genre diversity spanning techno, house, rock, hip-hop, and extreme metal
  • Multi-award-winning event, holding the title of "Best Major European Festival"
  • A nocturnal festival that starts in the evening and runs until 8:00 AM, known for magical sunrises in the Dance Arena

Program

The festival gates open every evening around 7:00 PM, with music playing continuously until about 8:00 AM the next morning. The main headliners perform on the Gorki List Main Stage, while the global DJ elite keep the crowd dancing until dawn in the Dance Arena. Every stage, from the Fusion Stage to the underground NSNS (No Sleep Novi Sad) Stage, offers its own distinct musical ecosystem.

Tickets

A regular 4-day festival pass usually starts around €89 during the early-bird phases. For a more exclusive experience, VIP Gold passes are available, costing up to €300. Attendees who wish to camp can stay at the official EXIT Village, which requires a separate camping ticket. Single-day tickets are typically released closer to the festival dates.
