Welcome to Faro Alternativo 2026 in Faro
The Passeio Ribeirinho in Faro hosts the 16th edition of Faro Alternativo, one of Portugal's most consistent independent festivals. Organized by A3, the Associação Algarve Alternativo, the festival brings together Portuguese and international bands spanning punk, hardcore, metal and other strands of alternative music across two stages over three nights.

The festival unfolds over three evenings, with Friday leaning toward hardcore and beatdown sounds while Saturday shifts to death metal and grind.
