Welcome to Feira da Luz 2026 in Carnide, Lisbon
From August 29 to September 27, 2026, the Jardim da Luz in Lisbon's Carnide neighborhood once again turns into a lively street fair. Feira da Luz is one of Lisbon's oldest and best known popular festivities, tracing its roots back more than five hundred years to the pilgrimage held in honor of Nossa Senhora da Luz.

Program and Schedule: What to Expect in Carnide
The fair runs daily from 11am to midnight over nearly a month. The musical highlight is the weekend concert program, which starts at 9:30pm and brings names such as Miguel Gameiro, Paulo Gonzo, Ricardo Ribeiro, Valete and João Pedro Pais to the stage at Largo da Luz. During the day, workshops, exhibitions and activities for children keep the program varied.
Tickets and Admission for Feira da Luz 2026
As every year, admission to the fair and its concerts is completely free. Only food, drinks, fairground rides and a few specifically marked paid activities are charged directly by the individual vendors.
Visitor Tips: Travel and Accommodation in Lisbon
- The easiest way to get there is via the Blue Line of the Lisbon Metro, getting off at Carnide or Colégio Militar / Luz station
- From Carnide metro station it is about a seven minute walk to Largo da Luz
- Late August and September usually bring warm weather to Lisbon, so light clothing is enough
- Accommodation in Lisbon should be booked early for the concert weekends
