Welcome to the Feira de São Mateus 2027
The exact date for 2027 has not been announced yet. Southeast of Porto, in the historic city of Viseu, the Feira de São Mateus takes place every year; with a tradition of more than six hundred years, it is considered one of the oldest popular fairs on the Iberian Peninsula. Visitors can expect around 31 days of concerts, food, crafts, culture and fairground rides at the Campo de Viriato grounds.

Program
The exact date and concert lineup for 2027 have not been announced yet. The Feira de São Mateus traditionally runs for about 31 days, with paid admission on some concert evenings. Tickets
In previous years, standard admission cost around 5 euros per day when bought online in advance; a few major concerts cost between 7 and 10 euros. Children up to and including age 10 usually enter free. A family ticket and other discounts, such as for holders of the Cartão Jovem, are typically available. Tickets can be purchased through the official Bilheteira on feirasaomateus.pt or directly at the entrances to the grounds.
Visitor Tips
- Staying in central Viseu means you can walk to the grounds and avoid the parking that fills up quickly nearby.
- Arrive early for concert nights, as these are among the busiest of the year in Viseu.
- Wines from the nearby Dão Valley are one of the culinary highlights of the fair.
- Daily tickets usually do not allow re entry once you leave the grounds, so plan accordingly.
