Program
The fair marks Saint Simon's Day (28 October) and All Saints' Day (1 November) and has been held around the Mercado Municipal, right next to the town hall (Paços do Concelho), since 2012, bringing together market stalls, music and gastronomy. On the opening evening, 30 October, a local music group traditionally sets the tone. On the following days, showcooking sessions featuring regional products alternate with performances by folk groups from the municipality and entertainment for children. The closing day, 2 November, again offers children's activities, folklore and a showcooking session with traditional recipes.
Tickets
The Feira de São Simão is a free event organised by the Alcobaça town council; no tickets are required. On 30 and 31 October and on 1 November, the fair is open from 10:00 AM to 10:00 PM, and on the final day (2 November) from 10:00 AM to 8:00 PM.
