The Oh Bej Oh Bej market opens on December 7 around the Castello Sforzesco and traditionally runs through the following Sunday. On the evening of December 7, the Prima della Scala takes place, the opening premiere of the opera season at Teatro alla Scala, deliberately scheduled on the patron saint's holiday since 1951.
