Welcome to the Festival 20·21 2026 in Leuven
Festival 20·21 is Leuven’s annual hotspot for classical music of the 20th and 21st centuries and part of the Festival van Vlaanderen. From 21 September to 29 October 2026 it presents an ambitious programme across multiple venues in Leuven, featuring works by Ligeti, Feldman, Bacewicz, Britten, contemporary premieres and Belgian composers.

Program & Schedule: What to Expect in 2026
The festival runs from 21 September to 29 October 2026. Most concerts start at 20:30. Highlights include the Ligeti cycle with Brecht Valckenaers, the Transit weekend with contemporary premieres, and large-scale productions such as “Against the War” with I SOLISTI and CHORWERK RUHR. Tickets & Admission for Festival 20·21 Leuven
Tickets are sold per concert and available online via the festival website. Base prices typically range from approximately 15 to 40 Euro depending on the concert. Discounts apply for under-26s (10 %), seniors 65+ (5 %), groups of 10+ (25 %), ABO3+ (30 % for three or more concerts), as well as special KU Leuven and UiTPAS rates. Student and further reductions are available. Early booking is recommended.
