The Festival d’Automne à Paris 2026/2027, the 55th edition of the multidisciplinary festival founded in 1972, runs from 11 September 2026 to 10 January 2027. Performing arts take place from 11 September to 19 December 2026 across around 58 partner venues in Paris and Île-de-France; visual arts, including Lubaina Himid’s exhibition at the Musée d’Art Moderne de Paris, continue until 10 January 2027. The festival is nomadic: events take place in theatres, museums, art centres and independent spaces across Paris and the region, including the Odéon, Théâtre de la Ville, La Villette, CENTQUATRE-PARIS, Palais de Tokyo, MC93 Bobigny and Ménagerie de verre. The edition opens on 11 September 2026 with nora chipaumire’s Carte Blanche. The festival as a whole is not free, although selected exhibitions and encounters have free admission. Single tickets typically range from 0 EUR (free formats) to around 40 EUR depending on the venue and production (example: 11 000 Cordes at La Villette, 8–40 EUR).
