In the heart of the Alentejo, the historic town of Crato once again becomes one of Portugal's biggest summer stages during Festival do Crato. Starting out as a crafts and gastronomy fair in 1984, the event has grown into a multi day music festival with national and international acts that draws tens of thousands of visitors every year.
