Program

The 55th Olympus Festival opens on 4 July 2026 at the Ancient Theatre of Dion with a musical theatre evening. It is followed by numerous theatre productions of ancient works, modern plays, and concerts by well known Greek artists; most performances begin around 9:30 PM. Besides Dion, Katerini (Municipal Theatre), the Castle of Platamonas, and Litochoro serve as additional venues, spreading events across the whole Pieria region. The festival runs into September and closes with accompanying symposia and exhibitions on the region's ancient history.

Tickets

Most performances require tickets; prices generally range between 10 and 15 euros depending on the production, with reduced rates for children and students on many evenings. Tickets can be bought in advance through Greek ticketing platforms and are often also available at the venue one hour before the show starts, while supplies last. Some exhibitions and accompanying events are free to attend.
