Festival Vapor 2026 takes place on 3 and 4 October at the Museu Nacional Ferroviário in Entroncamento, about one hour by train from Lisbon. The sixth edition mixes steampunk, live concerts, crafts and street food inside one of Europe’s largest railway museums. It is organised by the Municipality of Entroncamento and the National Railway Museum, with the Lisbon Steampunk League running the themed activities.

Saturday 3 and Sunday 4 October 2026 fill the museum grounds with music, performance, steampunk workshops, a book fair, short films and food. The bill runs from Portuguese pop and electronic beats (Iolanda, Rita Vian, Stereossauro, Xtinto) to Afro-Lusophone sounds (Mayra Andrade, Fogo Fogo) and more experimental or theatrical sets. The Lisbon Steampunk League hosts the automaton factory, board games and costume photography; a crafts market and street food run in parallel.

Tickets are on sale. First phase (until 15 September): two-day pass 12 euro, day ticket 8 euro. From 16 September: two-day pass 15 euro, day ticket 10 euro. Entry is free up to and including age 11. A 50 percent discount for under-18s and students is available at the museum box office (MNF reception). • Getting there: Entroncamento station (Norte and Beira Baixa lines) is about a nine-minute walk from the museum. From Lisbon (Oriente or Santa Apolónia) the train takes around one hour. • Weather: Early October in the Ribatejo is often mild (daytime around 20 °C), cooler after dark, with possible showers. Pack layers, comfortable shoes for cobbles and hall floors, and an optional light rain poncho.
