Program & Schedule: What to Expect in 2027
Mamer’s Fête de la Musique is part of Luxembourg’s nationwide music weekend and is staged by the commune as a multi-day open-air event. Recent editions typically opened on Friday evening with the mayor and a school choir, followed by local and regional bands on the main stage. Saturday and Sunday then brought all-day concerts, often with a second stage for newcomers, jazz at the Wëllebau, a crossover concert in the church and an afternoon for older residents at the HPPA. In 2026 the line-up ranged from Krick, Daniel Balthasar, One Last Time and Superdrive to wind orchestras and Fred Barreto & The Syndicate. The 2027 programme is usually published in spring via the free Gemeng Mamer app and mamer.lu.

Visitor Tips: Travel & Accommodation in Mamer
- Getting there: Mamer is on the Luxembourg–Kleinbettingen rail line; from Mamer station it is a short walk to Place de l’Indépendance. By car use the A6 and park on the edge of town, as the centre is restricted during concerts.
- What to wear: summer evening outdoors – light clothes, a thin jacket for later and comfortable shoes. Many areas are uncovered if it rains.
- Where to stay: book hotels or guesthouses in Mamer, Capellen or Luxembourg City early, especially if you combine the weekend with the capital’s Fête de la Musique.
- Programme: stage times appear in the Gemeng Mamer app; arrive early for the opening, as the square in front of the church fills quickly.
- Families: Sunday often starts in the morning (09:30 in Parc Brill in the previous edition) – a good slot for children and brass-band fans.
