Program

The festival opens on Saturday, 10 October, with the traditional opening speech (Pregón) at Plaza del Pilar, which draws tens of thousands of people every year. The most important day is 12 October, the "día grande", when thousands of people in traditional Aragonese costume walk to the basilica to offer flowers to the Virgin of the Pillar, together forming a giant floral mantle in front of the church. The following day, 13 October, brings the Ofrenda de Frutos and the evening Rosario de Cristal, a procession of illuminated crystal floats. Throughout the week, concerts at Plaza del Pilar and venues such as Espacio Zity, the Pabellón Príncipe Felipe and San Pablo Park (Food Trucks Zaragoza) cover every musical style. The program also includes jota competitions, flamenco, an international circus festival, bullfighting events at Plaza de Toros de La Misericordia, and an extensive children's and family program.

Tickets

Street celebrations, parades, the Flower Offering and most concerts on public squares are entirely free to attend. Individual major concerts at venues like Espacio Zity, as well as bullfighting events, require separate tickets available through the respective organizers. The official program is published on the Zaragoza City Council website.
