What is the Tudela Vegetable Festival?
Tudela sits at the heart of Navarra's fertile Ribera region and has long been known as the "vegetable garden of Navarra". From 17 April to 3 May 2026, the small town celebrates its local produce with the Fiestas de la Verdura (Vegetable Festival). The event is organized by the Orden del Volatín together with Tudela's city council, supported by the Government of Navarra. Its central days traditionally fall in the last week of April and the first week of May.
When is the Tudela Vegetable Festival in 2026?
The 32nd edition opens on Friday, 17 April 2026, with the traditional rocket launch (Lanzamiento del Cohete) at 8:00 PM and the vegetable mosaic display on Plaza Nueva. Over more than two weeks, the festival brings over 300 events to Tudela and the wider Ribera region, closing on 3 May with the Orden del Volatín's general assembly.
