Welcome to the Finkenbach Festival 2027 in Oberzent
The Finkenbach Festival celebrates its 50th anniversary in 2027 and is regarded as Germany’s oldest Krautrock festival. From 6 to 7 August 2027 the idyllic festival grounds in Finkenbach-Oberzent in the Odenwald once again become the “Woodstock of the Odenwald”. With a mix of classic Krautrock acts, psychedelic rock and folk atmosphere, the festival offers a relaxed, hippie-style vibe right in the middle of the forest.

Program & Schedule: What to Expect in 2027
The festival takes place on Friday 6 August and Saturday 7 August 2027. Birth Control traditionally opens the festival on Friday evening. The programme features around ten bands from Krautrock, psychedelic rock, folk and related styles. The stage is set in the green festival grounds surrounded by forest and meadows. Camping is possible from Thursday to Sunday and is included in the ticket. Current line-up updates and exact playing times are published on the official website.
Tickets & Admission for Finkenbach Festival Oberzent
The two-day festival ticket costs 105 euros in the early-bird presale and includes camping as well as a camper van pitch. Tickets are available via the official website finkenbachfestival.de and partners such as Eventim. Box-office prices may be higher. There are no classic day tickets; the ticket is valid for both days. Dogs are not allowed on the festival grounds.
Visitor Tips: Travel & Accommodation in Oberzent
- Arrive by car via Beerfelder Straße; parking is available and a shuttle bus is offered
- Bring weatherproof clothing and sturdy shoes – the site is in the forest and can be wet
- Camping is included; book hotels in the surrounding area (Erbach, Beerfelden, Hirschhorn) early
- Print online tickets in advance as mobile reception on site can be poor
- Water bottles (up to 0.5 l) may be brought and refilled on site; food must stay outside
