Confirmed is the New Year's Eve torch run on the evening of New Year's Eve 2026 at the Achterjet valley station on the Unterberghang (Unterberggasse). From 4:30 PM a DJ and a host provide entertainment, the formation lines up at 5:30 PM and the torch run starts at 5:40 PM. It is organized by the WA Ski Race Club Flachau, USC Flachau and the Hermann Maier ski school. After that, the real party night begins in the bars and huts, and many venues keep going well past midnight.
