Program & Schedule: What to Expect in 2027

According to the local organising committee, the stadium opens at 13:00 on both competition days. Saturday, 2 January 2027, features the women’s qualification at 13:30, the women’s competition at 15:30, the women’s flower ceremony, and the men’s qualification at 17:45. Sunday, 3 January 2027, features the men’s trial round at 15:00 and the men’s competition at 16:30, followed by the award ceremony. Times remain subject to wind and weather; FIS, Ski Austria and vierschanzentourneeinnsbruck.com publish the binding timetable.

Bergisel is a demanding hill: after landing, athletes must run slightly uphill, and gusts often reshuffle the ranking. The 75th edition is the first complete Four Hills Tournament with women’s events at all four venues (Oberstdorf, Garmisch-Partenkirchen, Innsbruck and Bischofshofen). In Innsbruck the women compete on the men’s qualification day.

Tickets & Admission for Four Hills Tournament Innsbruck

Bergisel Stadium offers standing places only. Qualification, competition and combination tickets are sold through the official Ski Austria webshop. In the previous edition, standing tickets for qualification day were roughly EUR 12–16 and competition-day standing tickets roughly EUR 23–105; VIP hospitality cost substantially more. For 2027, early-bird sales run via the Ski Austria ticket shop; final sector prices can change and should be checked before purchase. Discounts apply to spectators born 2009–2018. Children born in 2019 or later do not need their own ticket according to the organiser. Dogs are not allowed. Umbrellas, glass bottles, cans, alcoholic drinks and pyrotechnics are banned.

Visitor Tips: Travel & Accommodation in Innsbruck

  • Use rail and city transport: the event ticket is valid in the IVB core zone. Tram line 1 runs towards Wilten/Bergisel; from the stop it is a short walk. By car, use the Innsbruck-Süd exit; parking at Tirol Panorama is limited.
  • January in Innsbruck means cold air, wind and often snow in the stadium bowl. Wear layered clothing and sturdy shoes; umbrellas are not permitted inside the venue.
  • Innsbruck hotels fill quickly between New Year and Epiphany. Book early in the old town, Wilten, along the Brenner corridor or in nearby Hall in Tirol.
  • Study the sector map before buying: sightlines to the inrun, take-off and outrun vary widely; central sectors give the most complete view of the flight.
  • The Bergisel tower viewpoint is worth a visit on a non-competition day; access rules differ during the tournament, so check bergisel.info and the event site for opening times.
