Welcome to Francofolies 2027 in La Rochelle
Since 1985, Francofolies has been the leading festival dedicated to French-language music, transforming the historic Atlantic port city of La Rochelle every July into a vibrant celebration of song. The 43rd edition takes place from 10 to 14 July 2027 and features chanson, pop, rock and contemporary francophone sounds across multiple stages. More than 150,000 visitors enjoy five days and nights of music at the Old Port and throughout the city.

Program
The full programme for Francofolies 2027 has not yet been announced. Traditionally the festival offers five evenings of headliners on the main Jean-Louis Foulquier stage plus numerous performances on other city venues. Daytime and evening free concerts, encounters and formats for all ages complete the experience. Expect a mix of chanson, pop, hip-hop, rock and current French music. Exact artists and schedules will be published on the official website as soon as the line-up is revealed.
Tickets
Ticketing for Francofolies 2027 is not yet open. In recent years main-stage tickets (Jean-Louis Foulquier) ranged from approximately €60–80 per evening (standing or seated, some with fast-track), multi-day passes from around €150, and indoor venue tickets from about €15–40. Free areas and concerts are also available. Tickets are sold via the official website francofolies.fr and partners such as SeeTickets, Ticketmaster and France Billet. Early booking is strongly recommended as popular nights sell out quickly. Please check the official site for the latest prices and availability.
Visitor Tips
- Arrive by train at Gare de La Rochelle (about 15 minutes’ walk to the main stage) or by bike; use regional buses and shuttles to avoid traffic and parking issues.
- July temperatures are typically 18–24 °C – bring light clothing, sun protection, a hat and plenty of water; free drinking points and misting stations are provided on site.
- Book accommodation and the festival campsite early, as La Rochelle is very busy in July.
