Welcome to the Frankfurt Christmas Market 2026 in Frankfurt
The Frankfurt Christmas Market 2026 runs from 23 November to 22 December and ranks among the oldest and largest Christmas markets in Germany. With more than 230 decorated wooden stalls it stretches across Römerberg, Paulsplatz, Mainkai, Hauptwache, Roßmarkt and Friedrich-Stoltze-Platz. The historic old town combined with the modern skyline creates a unique festive backdrop for mulled wine, Bethmännchen and holiday atmosphere.

Program & Schedule: What to Expect in 2026
The Frankfurt Christmas Market is open daily from 23 November to 22 December 2026. Opening hours are Monday to Saturday 10:00–21:00 and Sunday 11:00–21:00. On Römerberg, tower horn players perform on Wednesdays and Saturdays, while Advent concerts take place on Fridays to Sundays. The Children’s Christmas Market on Mainkai features craft activities and storytellers. Rosa Weihnacht on Friedrich-Stoltze-Platz offers a wide range of vegetarian and vegan options in a warm atmosphere.
The Finnish Christmas Bazaar at Dornbuschkirche traditionally takes place on the first Advent weekend and adds Nordic specialities such as Glögi and smoked salmon. Exact dates for 2026 will be announced later.

Admission to the entire Frankfurt Christmas Market, including Rosa Weihnacht and the Children’s Christmas Market, is free of charge. Costs only apply for food, drinks and purchases.
