What is the Frequency Festival in St. Pölten
The Frequency Festival (officially FM4 Frequency Festival) is one of Austria's biggest music festivals, held in the Greenpark in St. Pölten since 2009, about a 30 minute ride from Vienna. The site sits directly along a river; by day the riverside turns into a relaxed chillout area, while by night two major stages, the Mainstage and the Nightstage, deliver full scale concert energy. More than 100,000 visitors attend the three day festival each year.

The 2026 edition runs from Thursday, 20 August, through Saturday, 22 August 2026. The grounds open during the day for riverside programming, while the main stage concerts start in the late afternoon and continue well past midnight.
