Welcome to GAUKLERFESTung 2027 in Koblenz
Every year in late July or early August, Ehrenbreitstein Fortress high above Koblenz turns into a stage for international street art. Held since 1992, this juggler and street arts festival draws around 50000 visitors over three days to watch jugglers, acrobats, comedians and magicians from more than twenty countries. Exact dates for 2027 have not yet been announced by the organizer.

Program and Schedule: What to Expect in 2027
The festival traditionally opens on Friday evening with the Variety Gala, followed by a full day of street performances on Saturday and Sunday. Between acts, guests are free to move between the fortress squares and put together their own schedule. The exact dates and full program for 2027 have not yet been confirmed and will be published in spring through the channels of the Förderverein Kultur im Café Hahn.
Tickets and Admission for GAUKLERFESTung Koblenz
Exact 2027 prices have not yet been published. For the 2026 edition, a day ticket at the box office cost 17 euros for adults, with reduced and family tickets priced lower. A three day festival pass purchased in advance cost around 30 euros. Members of the Förderverein Kultur im Café Hahn and children up to and including age six enter free. Tickets are available both at the box office and through online presale.
Visitor Tips: Travel and Accommodation in Koblenz
- Ehrenbreitstein Fortress is reached by cable car from the riverbank, and combined cable car and admission tickets are available
- Since the fortress sits on an open plateau, comfortable shoes and a look at the weather forecast are recommended
- Accommodation in Koblenz's old town should be booked early given the high number of visitors
- Ticket presale usually opens in spring, so buying early secures the best seats for the Variety Gala
- Arriving in the early afternoon makes it easier to catch as many stages and squares as possible
