From 20 November to 23 December 2026, the historic Old Town of Gdańsk transforms into a magical winter wonderland. Set against the stunning backdrop of colorful Baltic Hanseatic architecture, the market at Targ Węglowy (Coal Market) and surrounding historic streets offers a unique maritime-themed holiday experience.

The market spreads across Targ Węglowy, Tkacka Street by the Great Armoury, and down towards the Long Market (Długi Targ). Opening hours are Sunday through Thursday from 12:00 PM to 8:00 PM, and extended on Fridays and Saturdays until 9:00 PM. Visitors can explore unique amber gifts, artisan goods, and festive entertainment throughout the historic heart of the city.
