Welcome to the Giostra del Saracino 2027 in Arezzo
The exact date for 2027 has not been announced yet. Traditionally held in September, Piazza Grande in Arezzo turns into a medieval jousting arena. Knights representing the four historic districts of Arezzo compete against each other for the Lancia d'Oro trophy. Presale for seated tickets on the Chimet, Orchidea Preziosi and Chimera Gold grandstands traditionally opens in late August at the ticket office of the "I Colori della Giostra" exhibition in Piazza della Libertà, with standing and general rehearsal tickets following a few days later online. Prices range from 10 euros for a standing spot up to 100 euros for the best seats in the Lancia d'Oro sector of the Chimet grandstand. Children aged 0 to 4 held by an adult enter free, and there is a 10 euro discount for children aged 5 to 14 and adults over 70.
