Welcome to the Gladiolen Festival 2027 in Olen
Gladiolen Festival 2027 takes place on 14 and 15 May at the cosy Festivalterrein Boekel in Olen, Belgium. This award-winning small festival (Best Small Festival at the European Festival Awards) brings together top Belgian acts from rock, alternative, indie, pop and hip-hop and is entirely run by volunteers.

Program & Schedule: What to Expect in 2027
Gladiolen traditionally takes place on the Pentecost weekend. In 2027 this is Friday 14 May (doors around 18:00) and Saturday 15 May (doors around 16:00, until the early hours). The full line-up will be announced later. Expect a mix of established Belgian names and exciting newcomers. On Saturday afternoon the free street festival Boekel Boulevard takes place in the village centre of O.L.V.-Olen.
Tickets & Admission for Gladiolen Festival Olen
Tickets are not yet on sale. Based on previous editions, day tickets were around €50–55 and combo tickets around €75–80. Discounts (e.g. with UiTPAS) may be available. Sales are expected to open in December 2026 via the official website. Early purchase is strongly recommended as previous editions sold out quickly.
Visitor Tips: Travel & Accommodation in Olen
- Getting there: Olen is easily reachable by car (near Antwerp and the E313/E34). By public transport via Herentals or Geel station, then bus or taxi.
- Bring sturdy festival shoes and weatherproof clothing – the site is a meadow/village ground and can get muddy in rain.
- Camping is available on site (usually Friday afternoon to Sunday midday). Alternatively book accommodation in Olen, Herentals or Antwerp early.
- The festival has a very local and friendly vibe – be respectful to residents and support the volunteers.
- Boekel Boulevard on Saturday is free and perfect for a first impression or for companions without a ticket.
