Welcome to the Gommer Adventsmärt 2026 in Fiesch
The traditional Gommer Adventsmärt takes place from 20 to 22 November 2026 in the village centre of Fiesch. At the foot of the Great Aletsch Glacier in the Goms Valley, this atmospheric market offers the perfect start to the Advent season. With over 70 market stalls, regional delicacies and a varied supporting programme, the Valais mountain village transforms into a festive Alpine setting.

Program & Schedule: What to Expect in 2026
The Gommer Adventsmärt opens on Friday 20 November 2026 from 18:00 to 22:00, on Saturday from 14:00 to 22:00 and on Sunday from 10:30 to 17:00. Visitors can stroll between the stalls, discover regional crafts and enjoy typical Valais dishes. Children can listen to fairy tales while the musical programme accompanies the market throughout the day. The Hérens goats add a special local touch around the nativity crib. Admission to the Gommer Adventsmärt is free of charge. Costs only arise for food, drinks and the purchase of handicrafts. Valais mulled wine and Cholera are among the most popular offerings.
