When is Graspop Metal Meeting 2027?
The Graspop Metal Meeting takes place in 2027 from Thursday, 17 June, to Sunday, 20 June. The dates are already officially confirmed, even though the band lineup has not yet been announced. Since 1996 (with the exception of the pandemic break in 2020/2021), the festival has grown into one of Europe's biggest and most respected heavy metal gatherings.
Where is the festival held? How to get to Dessel
The event takes place at Festivalpark Stenehei in Dessel, a municipality in the Belgian province of Antwerp, roughly forty kilometres from the city of Antwerp. Despite a relatively compact site (with a perimeter of only about four kilometres), around 150,000 metal fans travel in from all over the world every year. Train travelers can use a discounted Event Train Ticket to Mol station, from where a free shuttle bus runs to the festival grounds and campsites. Drivers should book a parking ticket online in advance, since parking tickets are not sold on site.

What can visitors expect at Graspop Metal Meeting?
The lineup covers the full spectrum of heavy music, from hard rock through thrash and death metal to black metal, metalcore and punk. Past editions have featured acts such as Bring Me The Horizon, Sabaton, The Offspring, Volbeat, Alice Cooper, Anthrax, BABYMETAL and Cradle Of Filth. Beyond the music, camping is a core part of the Graspop experience, ranging from basic tent sites (Boneyard, The Crypt) to motorhome pitches (Metal Town) and more comfortable glamping options on the Inferno grounds.
How much do tickets cost?
Prices and lineup for the 2027 edition have not been published yet. For reference: in 2026, the four day combi ticket cost 319 euros, and a single day ticket cost 135 euros. Camping tickets for Boneyard or The Crypt cost around 37 euros per person, and a parking ticket cost 20 euros. Ticket sales traditionally open in autumn through Ticketmaster; this article will be updated once 2027 figures are confirmed.
Practical tips for your festival weekend
- Book tickets early, as the festival regularly sells out well in advance.
- Payments on site run through a credit system called Skullies, which can be topped up in advance.
- For train travel, use the discounted Event Train Ticket to Mol and take the free shuttle to the grounds.
- If camping, decide early between Boneyard, The Crypt or the more comfortable options at Inferno.
- Pack rain gear and sturdy footwear, as the grounds can get muddy quickly in wet weather.
