Welcome to the Gstaad New Year Music Festival 2026/2027 in Gstaad
The Gstaad New Year Music Festival opens and closes the year with classical music, opera and chamber works in Saanenland churches. Gstaad Tourism dates the next edition 26 December 2026 to 10 January 2027. The 20th edition, 26 December 2025 to 10 January 2026, is over. Artistic director: Princess Caroline Murat. Venues: churches in Saanen, Rougemont, Lauenen, the Gstaad chapel and Chateau-dOex. Site: gstaadnewyearmusicfestival.ch.

Program & Schedule: What to Expect in 2027
Most evenings start at 7.00 pm, some afternoons earlier. 2025/26 names included Cecilia Bartoli, Placido Domingo, Asmik Grigorian, Marina Viotti and Jakub Jozef Orlinski. 2027 names were missing. Skiing in Gstaad-Saanenland runs in parallel; the churches sit in the valley, not on the piste.
Not an EDM open-air. Guests hunting opera arias in a snow village are in the right place.
