The Güstrow Christmas Market, known as “Advent on the Market”, takes place in 2026 on the historic market square in front of the town hall of the Barlach City. The atmospheric market transforms the square into a festive Christmas village with illuminated chalets, fir trees and regional specialities. Exact dates for 2026 have not yet been announced; in previous years the market typically ran from early to mid-December. Daily opening hours usually follow Monday to Thursday 11:00–19:00, Friday and Saturday 11:00–21:00 and Sunday 12:00–19:00.
