The Haarlem Christmas Market 2026 transforms the historic city centre from 11 to 13 December into one of the cosiest and most popular traditional Christmas markets in the Netherlands. With around 350 stalls on the Grote Markt and in the surrounding streets, the market offers authentic atmosphere, crafts and seasonal treats right in front of the impressive town hall and St Bavo’s Church.

Program & Schedule: What to Expect in 2026
The market takes place from Friday 11 December to Sunday 13 December 2026. Opening hours: Friday and Saturday from 10:30 to 20:00, Sunday from 10:30 to 19:00. Especially at the weekend there is a rich entertainment programme with choir performances, live music and festivities throughout the city centre. Friday is ideal for a more relaxed visit before the main crowds arrive. The route runs through Kruisstraat, Nieuwe Groenmarkt, Zijlstraat, Grote Markt, Riviervismarkt, Oude Groenmarkt, Kleine Houtstraat, Schagchelstraat, Gierstraat and other streets.
