Welcome to the Hallein Christmas Market 2026
From November 13 to December 20, 2026, the Alte Saline on the Pernerinsel in Hallein turns into an atmospheric Christmas market. The former salt works building, in operation for more than 150 years until it closed in 1989, provides a striking historic setting for the Advent season. Since every stall is housed under one roof, the market runs completely independent of wind and weather, making it a popular destination in the wider Salzburg region.
