Welcome to the Hall Advent Market 2026 in Hall in Tirol
From November 20 to December 24, 2026, the Oberer Stadtplatz in Hall in Tirol once again turns into one of Tyrol's most atmospheric Christmas markets. As a founding member of the "Advent in Tirol" group, the market deliberately focuses on tradition and quality rather than loud commercialism, which fits perfectly with Hall's well preserved medieval old town, considered one of the finest historic centers in Austria.
Highlights and Attractions at the Hall Advent Market
- Around 34 market stalls, mostly run by local vendors from Hall and the surrounding area, joined by exhibitors from South Tyrol and Bavaria
- Handcrafted, one of a kind items rather than mass produced goods
- Traditional Tyrolean treats such as mulled wine, punch, krapfen doughnuts, kiachl fritters, roasted chestnuts and roasted garlic bread
- Live brass band and choir performances on the town square every day at 6 pm
- An artificial ice rink for children right in the historic center
- A visit from Father Christmas and his helpers on December 6, with a festive message and communal carol singing
- A decorative Advent calendar displayed on the building facades around the square, revealing a new window each day

Program and Schedule: What to Expect in Hall
The market is open every day except December 25 and 26. From Monday to Friday it runs from 3 pm to 8 pm, on Saturdays it opens earlier at 11 am and on Sundays at 1 pm, both closing at 8 pm. Special hours apply on December 8, from 1 pm to 8 pm, while on Christmas Eve the market opens already at 10 am and closes at 1 pm. Food and drink stalls generally close at 9 pm on regular days.

Admission to the Hall Advent Market is free of charge. Visitors only pay for food, drinks and any purchases at the individual stalls, as well as for using the ice rink.
