The Hamburger Winterdom 2026 takes place from 6 November to 6 December on Heiligengeistfeld in Hamburg-St. Pauli. As the winter edition of the Hamburger DOM, it is Northern Germany’s largest folk festival, combining rides, showman stalls, mulled wine and festive lighting with the run-up to Christmas. The Hamburger Winterdom 2026 runs continuously from 6 November to 6 December. Opening hours are generally Monday to Thursday 3:00 p.m. to 11:00 p.m., Friday and Saturday 3:00 p.m. to midnight, and Sunday 2:00 p.m. to 11:00 p.m. Hours may differ on memorial Sundays such as Volkstrauertag and Totensonntag; check hamburg.de for updates. Wednesday is Family Day with discounted prices. Friday fireworks at 10:30 p.m. are a regular highlight when weather allows.

The detailed 2026 ride line-up is usually published shortly before opening. Expect a large Ferris wheel, roller coasters, children’s carousels, games and extensive food stalls. Alongside the Winterdom, Hamburg also hosts traditional Christmas markets, including Rathausmarkt, Jungfernstieg and Speicherstadt.
