Giant Advent Calendar at Neustädter Rathaus 2026

Hesse’s largest Advent calendar turns the 24 historic windows of Neustädter Rathaus on Marktplatz into giant doors from 1 to 24 December 2026. Behind the windows appear illuminated fairy-tale scenes by Hanau artist Joerg Eyfferth, inspired by the Brothers Grimm. The daily window opening is traditionally at 18:00. The Steinheim Christmas Market takes place from 27 to 30 November 2026 in the courtyard of Schloss Steinheim.
