Welcome to Hanse Sail 2027 in Rostock
From August 5 to 8, 2027, the city harbor of Rostock and the seaside district of Warnemünde become a stage for around 200 tall ships and traditional sailing vessels. Hanse Sail is the largest maritime folk festival in Mecklenburg Vorpommern and has drawn around half a million visitors every year since 1991 to celebrate ships, music and harbor life together.

Program and Schedule: What to Expect in 2027
The festival traditionally kicks off the Wednesday before its official start with the Haikutter Regatta, in which historic cutters sail from Denmark to Warnemünde. The official opening usually takes place in the Kurhausgarten in Warnemünde, after which concerts, markets and maritime activities spread across numerous stages in Rostock and Warnemünde over four days. The detailed 2027 program and artist line up will be announced in spring.
