From November 19 to December 28, 2026, the square in front of the historic Harburg town hall once again becomes one of the most atmospheric Christmas markets in southern Hamburg. Set against the neo Renaissance town hall, a small and carefully decorated village of stalls forms around a large Christmas tree that traditionally comes from Harburg itself. As with nearly all German Christmas markets, admission is free.
