Program

The Heidelberg Christmas Market is spread across various squares in the Old Town, including Bismarckplatz, Anatomiegarten, Universitätsplatz, Marktplatz, Kornmarkt, and Karlsplatz. Open daily from 11:00 AM to 9:00 PM, and Saturdays until 10:00 PM, it attracts visitors with regional crafts and culinary specialties. The ice rink on Karlsplatz and the Winter Woods remain open past Christmas into January 2027.

Visiting the Heidelberg Christmas Market is completely free of charge. No entrance fee or advance reservation is required to stroll through the markets. However, separate fees apply for ice skating and skate rentals at the Karlsplatz rink.
